This problem has spiraled out of control. It's a total disaster. We've tried everything to fix it, but nothing seems to work. At this point, it feels like we're hopelessly stuck. Honestly, I don't know what else to do. This is a train wreck of epic proportions.
That's So Cringe, It's Hilarious (In a Way)

Worst Day Ever
It all started with a case of morning hair. I couldn't figure it to look decent. As I was dashing out the door, I trippedon and spilled all over the floor. To make matters worse, I was completely late for a very important appointment.

It all started out terribly with a simple mishap/incident/screw-up. But then everything went from bad to absolutely terrible. A series/chain/cascade of unfortunate/awful/disastrous events unfolded/occurred/piled on top each other, leaving me feeling like I was in a nightmare/horror movie/comedy of errors. It's the kind of situation where you just want to scream into a pillow.
